The Community Action Coalition meets to address substance use within San Juan County.

Vision - We are an empowered resilient community advancing prevention goals within San Juan County.

Mission - Moving from talk to action to support wellbeing and reduce substance misuse through collaboration and partnership.

Housing solutions information for people working on the frontlines

Bringing together individuals working on the frontlines to support people experiencing homelessness, or who are at risk of homelessness, through strategies and shared ideas to improve service delivery.

The group identifies barriers to obtaining local resources, eliminates duplication of resources, and provides solutions to everyday challenges for people experiencing homelessness while expanding communication channels.

Meetings held bi-monthly

1st Friday of the month 10:00 am

San Juan Health Council brings a diverse group of individual citizens, groups, service providers and other agencies together to impact health in San Juan County.

Mission

San Juan Health Council strives to elevate the health, wellness and quality of life for the people of San Juan County through community dialogue, partnership, education and collaborative action.

Youth Coalition, Launching 2026

San Juan County Partnership is launching a youth coalition in 2026, a youth-led leadership group built around the idea that young people are the best experts on what young people need.

Structured like a club and facilitated by caring adults, the coalition will bring teens together for leadership development, prevention programming and discussion, and creative work in the arts and theater. Members will build skills, learn about risk factors affecting young people in our community, and shape the direction of the group themselves.

Above all, the coalition is meant to be a safe place: somewhere teens can gather, talk openly, and take part in activities that leave them feeling supported, informed, and secure in their own community.

We are currently recruiting teens to join. If you or a young person you know is interested in being part of this from the beginning, we would love to hear from you.
